encode Prototype 3D jeans / Indigo

In the mid-19th century, denim work pants were born in America during the Gold Rush.

Over its long history, they evolved into "jeans,"
becoming an indispensable fashion item in modern fashion.

In the 1990s, three-dimensional cutting technology was introduced to jeans,
leading to the development of numerous "3D Construction" jeans.

The jeans we have created here are based on the idea that, throughout that history, from the original jeans pattern to the introduction of three-dimensional cutting, such prototypes may have existed during the product development process.

The material used is 14oz denim, developed based on the denim of the 1980s, when denim transitioned from selvedge to selvedge-less.

The silhouette is a loose fit,
composed of three parts: front panel, back panel, and side panel.

While retaining the original jeans features such as tack buttons, rivets, and home plate-shaped patch pockets, the back yoke has been changed to darts, creating a three-dimensional structure.

Using techniques such as whiskering, blasting, bio-bleaching, and laser processing, these jeans are treated to evoke the look and feel of jeans from that era.
