This is a new jersey fabric made from 100% "Organic Suvin" cotton—a variety of extra-long staple organic cotton.
It utilizes a special, oil-rich cotton variety that is finished with a low-twist spinning technique.

The fabric is crafted on an original 36-gauge jacquard machine using a "hikisoroe" technique, where two 60/1 count yarns are fed together.
This method ensures the yarns stand up clearly, resulting in a beautiful, refined surface texture.
It is a completely original jersey material that achieves a unique balance: a luxuriously smooth, fluid hand-feel combined with the firmness and structure of a high-density knit.

This is our debut striped T-shirt. The colors were carefully selected to create a vivid, striking look. It is available in two colorways: one featuring prominent yellow accents, and another highlighting navy and pink against a brown base.

Bio-processing is applied at both the fabric and garment stages to maximize the texture and unique finish.
Garment washing ensures minimal shape change after laundering, allowing for long-lasting wear.
The jersey features a fit with a relaxed, comfortable drape.

*Due to the garment-washing process, slight variations in size may occur.
*As organic cotton is used, minor fiber contamination may occur; please understand that this is a characteristic of the fabric.

KANEMASA PHIL. is a Japanese knitwear brand launched by Kanemasa Meriyasu, a long-established knitwear manufacturer founded in Wakayama in 1964.

Guided by the concept of "Future Classic / Future Vintage," the brand utilizes high-density jersey fabrics across all its items. These fabrics are created using technical expertise cultivated over more than 50 years and state-of-the-art, custom-made jacquard circular knitting machines. The company boasts a track record of consistently supplying fabrics to high-end fashion houses both in Japan and abroad, and it unveils its knit collections twice a year at the world’s premier textile trade shows: Première Vision in Paris and Milano Unica in Milan.

Starting with the 2023–24 Autumn/Winter season, the brand name was changed from KANEMASA to KANEMASA PHIL.
